Re. 2014 workshop- I am fine with both the countries. If it happens in India then can we have it outside Delhi pls? Hyderabad is a good option.
I think we need to discuss the content of 2014 workshop in some detail. Maybe once the date is fixed we can have a round of discussion exactly what we will bring to the workshop.Hi All

What I am currently doing –
Working on two research projects – one on National Rural Employment Guarantee Act and my research explores policy ‘from below’ with the help of cases that show positive impact; the other is about protest and participation, it builds on my earlier work on social movements and examines more recent cases particularly protests against mining. Also, desperately trying to finish a long overdue book on development. Enjoying writing, pity that I have to rush!Update on Economic Citizenship Project –
Alison and John at Coady want to submit a proposal to IDRC. Bettina, Simeen and I had a skype discussion with them in July. Following which there was a concept note Alison wrote and circulated and we gave our comments. That was in August.
