We’ve made it through the week!
Bettina, Simeen (and hopefully Ranjita) will be facilitating today’s discussion on decision points and next steps that have emerged from this week’s discussion.
Although it is the end of the week, the forum discussions will stay online, so if you have not had the opportunity to contribute as much as you would like, please feel free to do so over the weekend or early next week. I will make sure that all ideas are encapsulated into a summarized report that I will send out to all members by the end of next week.
Thanks for taking the time to participate this week!

here is a list of next steps – please add if I have left out anything:
1. Working group leaders to send Shy an itemized budget within a week. (Bettina to follow up with Claire and Deepta, and Alison and Ranjita); Jo and Leslie to get back to Shy about whether they will use the funds for the Knowledge and Democracy group.
2. Vera and Laura to begin leading the application for the Voices grant – to be submitted in 6 months.
3. Laurence to lead the Bellagio application for 2014 or 2015? Vera suggested 2015, Laurence suggested 2014.
4. Becky to help finalise the date for the 2014 workshop.
5. A decision needs to be made about where the 2014 workshop will be held – India or South Africa?
Please add to this list in the course of today…there might be bigger decisions I have left out.
Thanks,
Bettina.

re point 3. I agree with vera – i’ll lead bellagio for 2015 and we can discuss the proposal at the 2014 meeting
re point 5. I think it makes sense to host in India for logistical reasons, especially around financial tranfers from what i gathered from the discussion this week, but if this is not an obstacle then we can host.lastly, a special thank to Becky for making this happen every day, and in such a positive way. thanks!

Re. 2014 workshop- I am fine with both the countries. If it happens in India then can we have it outside Delhi pls? Hyderabad is a good option.
I think we need to discuss the content of 2014 workshop in some detail. Maybe once the date is fixed we can have a round of discussion exactly what we will bring to the workshop. -
